Vincent Dampt Petit Chablis 2024
Stainless steel only. I must say, in the warmer years, I gravitate towards Petit Chablis, because the further up the cru chain you go, the wines kind of get less typical and more tropical. Anyway, 2024 is a vintage that harks back to days of yore, where frisky Chablis was the order of the day. This is from 40+ year old vines. This has energy and flavour. I'm thinking lemon oil, green mango, melon, mint and honey. It has some waxiness and flinty grip to texture, a nip of lemon peel bitterness, and a juicy tang to a finish of excellent length, closing with some green olive salinity. Curiously this seems a little riper than the AC Chablis of the same vintage, though it's still a bit of a banger. Yum. Date Tasted: April 2026; Alcohol: 12.0%; Closure: Diam; Price: $76.00; Rating: 92 Points; Gary Walsh

Vincent Dampt Chablis 2024
Citrus, lemon balm, a light minted honey note, slightly nutty. It's bright and firm, with classic flinty/stony texture and a crisp finish of excellent length and precision. Once upon a time, this is how they used to taste. Such a lovely drink.. Date Tasted: April 2026; Alcohol: 12.5%; Closure: Diam; Price: $87.00; Rating: 94 Points; Gary Walsh

Vincent Dampt Vaillons 1er Cru 2024
Fresh lime and herbs suffuse the minerally outline of the wine. There’s even a creamy sweetness to the aroma in a bone-dry wine. Both fresh and intensely moreish. Perfectly proportioned and rounded on the long finish despite the crisp acidity. Closure: Diam; Rating: 17.5 Points; Jancis Robinson

Vincent Dampt Cote de Lechet 1er Cru 2024
A plot from 1974 and a much younger plot. In good condition. Being fined. Discreet, subtle, restrained, a long stony finish though with a little velvet from the fruit to cover the bones. Also a fine long finish. Closure: Diam; Rating: 90-93 Points; Jasper Morris & 90-93 Points; Burghound
