Brand & Sons is a boutique wine producer based in Coonawarra, South Australia, focussed on producing small batch wines that highlight the flavours of the Coonawarra.

Since 1852, the Brand family have distinguished themselves with their authenticity, ingenuity and determination. These characteristics are the foundation of a legacy which has endured for six generations, from pioneering bushman to an Australian winemaking dynasty. Brand & Sons is owned and managed by fourth generation vigneron, Sam Brand and family.

Deep crimson in colour with dark purple hues. The aroma is intense and layered, showing blackberry, dark plum and black cherry, intertwined with gentle white pepper, subtle smoky spices and dark chocolate. The palate is silky delivering fresh red berry fruits, supported by robust tannins. Richness and depth are balanced by fresh acidity, fine grain oak; all well judged and seamlessly integrated, leading to a long, confident and persistent finish. There's an inherent cuddliness to this wine – it's plush, substantial and awash with soft fruit – but then it also feels fresh and it extends well through the finish as well. It tastes of ripe plums, olives, mint and cedar, and as the wine breathes a gentle musky/creamy character rolls through the wine as well. This wine is more than satisfying; it's enriching.
