Hoddles Creek Pinot Noir 2024
A very light, bright crimson red. Pure fruited, with aromas of freshly crushed raspberries, summer flowers and a touch of spice. Just as good on the light- to medium-bodied, brightly fruited and silkily structured palate. A wine, as always, to buy by the case and enjoy over the next three to four years! Drink to: 2029; Price: $26.00; Date Tasted: July 2025; Alcohol: 13.2%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion

Save Our Souls Pinot Noir 2023
A blend of fruit from three sites and all planted with MV6. A gorgeous, light, bright crimson purple. This leaps out of the glass with its aromas of freshly picked cherries, blood orange and mountain herbs. The palate is moreish, energetic and fine boned. Super value, you'd be delighted if this was on by the glass at your local cafe or pub. Drink to: 2028; Price: $30.00; Date Tasted: September 2024; Alcohol: 13.2%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion

Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir 2023
Some whole bunches and matured in a combination of seasoned and new oak (25%). A very bright crimson. Gorgeous aromatics redolent of picked red cherries, wild strawberry and potpourri. Equally vibrant and energetic on the palate, it's so well balanced that, while delicious now, it will continue improving for quite a few years to come. That it's so well priced is the icing on the cake. Drink to: 2031; Price: $35.00; Date Tasted: Feb 2024; Alcohol: 13%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion

Gembrook Hill Village Pinot Noir 2023
From a vineyard in Yellingbo, 6km from Gembrook; 100% destemmed and fermented for three to four weeks on skins. A light, bright cherry crimson red. Lifted with a cornucopia of summer red fruits, florals and spices such as cardamon and cinnamon. Equally good on the light- to medium-bodied, supple and persistent palate. A delight to drink now and over the next two to three years. Date: Jan 2025; Alcohol: 13.5%; Price: $38.00; Drink by: 2029; Rating: 93 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion
