Family owned and operated since 1983, Neil and Alison Paulett founded the winery now helmed by son Matt and his wife Ali.

It crackles with energy and yet delivers the beauty of benign decay. Honey toast, orange marmalade and sugared almonds meet tart lime, pink grapefruit juice and lemongrass freshness. It's layered, quite intense, vividly energetic despite the softening and spread of texture and secondary characters coming into play. It's in a seriously good zone right now. Drink to: 2028; Date Tasted: November 2025; Alcohol: 12%; Price: $75.00; Rating: 95 Points; James Halliday Wine Companion

Lemon pith, toffee and lime curd aromas lure you in. This riesling has a touch of age yet the palate is still tense and taut. Subtle tertiary notes are just starting to appear, a hint of toffee of leatherwood honey. It's still a baby, an electric current pulses through the palate. This has great aging potential. Date Tasted: December 2025; Drink: 2025 to 2035; Alcohol: 12%; Price: $70.00; Rating: 95 Points; The Real Review

Intense lime and flinty aromas here with pithy lime peel, too. Smells concentrated. The palate confirms that with explosive lime and apple flavors. Acidity is a feature and the flavors run so long. Drink or hold. Screw cap. Rating: 96 Points; James Suckling
