The Kay Brothers McLaren Vale Amery Vineyards grace the rolling foothills of the Southern Mt. Lofty Ranges. Established in 1890 by Australian born brothers, Herbert and Frederick Kay, the Heritage listed Kays Amery Winery celebrated its first grape crush in 1895 and is the oldest McLaren Vale winery still in founding family hands. Today, the family continues the winemaking traditions in the heritage listed cellars.

For well over a century Shiraz has played the main role in producing wines of outstanding quality, depth and longevity at Kay Brothers.

The Kay Brothers Amery Hillside Shiraz is a full-bodied, dense, and complex Shiraz from the McLaren Vale region of South Australia, known for its dark fruit flavours, mocha notes, and savory elements, with a capacity to age in the cellar. Made by blending fruit from various parcels, it aims to produce the best possible combination for the vintage, showcasing a rich, concentrated palate with fine tannins and acidity. The wine is often enjoyed with grilled meats and can benefit from some decanting before serving to express its layers of flavour.
