He sources fruit from across the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Riverland. Whilst he works with the classic varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir he also plays with some Italian varietals including Sangiovese and Barbera and this year has experimented with a parcel of Syrah from the Eden Valley. the Iberian variety Tempranillo. The project began in 2015 and already has received some great reviews and we think these offer remarkable value.
This vintage sees a label change and, for those following the C2 Sangiovese, this wine is one and the same. A slightly deeper expression this release with glossier and richer fruit. The tannins are supple and giving, a feat in its youth.
