For me, this is a step up on the previous vintage, quite a considerable one. This is beautifully fragrant. We have notes of plums, dried herbs, chocolate, raspberries, liqueur cherries, an array of red fruits and hints of kirsch. A silky, seductive texture, the wine is well balanced with fine length, and a line of juicy acidity. Delicious now and over the next eight years. Love it. It's a juicy, red-berried, energetic wine with a high degree of drinkability. It tastes of redcurrant, raspberry, red jelly and sweet spice, with orange blossom and assorted floral characters floating over the top.
