UMAMU Estate is produced from the family vineyard in Margaret River with vines first planted in 1978. They place a strong emphasis on allowing the vineyard to express itself naturally while striving to achieve balance in the ecosystem. They work with what each different season presents and provides the best environment for each vine to produce balanced fruit for each desired wine style.

This is the king of grapes speaking, a full-bodied cabernet with blackcurrant, dried bay leaf, black olive and earth all in perfect agreement, tannins as they should be, giving savoury nuances to the finish, French oak likewise.
