Rosenthal Wines is a boutique winery located in Denmark on the south coast of Western Australia in the Great Southern wine region. Owned and operated by the Eckersley and Ladwig families. Best mates and winemakers Luke Eckersley and Coby Ladwig have held the reins of Rosenthal Wines since 2012. The brand was originally established in 2001 by Dr John Rosenthal with a small vineyard holding in Manjimup with a focus on Shiraz and Cabernet. Since 2012 the boys have increased production and added several vineyards to the fruit resources as well as a range of wines.

Brilliant pale straw-green. Subtle fragrances of lime, and sherbert with a touch of lemon blossom. The linear drive of the palate is balanced by citrus and green apple with a crunchy mineral texture. 

A wine that captures so much of that Mount Barker Riesling character. The aromas are spicy, which is a trait of this region, with a zest lemon and lime edge. The palate is tense and linear but with tremendous depth of fruit supported by a racy minerally acidity. Presents with a light delicacy yet the persistence is a feature.
