The cool climate of Langhorne Creek typifies Australia at its finest. Heartland grows and selects grapes with the most flavour per acre through careful vineyard management and years of collective expertise.
Winemaker Ben Glaetzer has created something special from Langhorne Creek. Captivating aromas of leafy mint, black fruits, jubey red fruits and dark chocolate. The palate is velvety smooth with silky texture, immense concentration and sustained power, yet highly drinkable. Already a pleasure, but with 20 years ahead. A wonderful regional expression. Drink to: 2026-2045; Alcohol: 14.5%; Price: $100.00; Rating: 97 Points; Ray Jordan
An inky maroon colour. Plush and generous, this is ripe and rich with gorgeous aromas of blueberries coming to the fore. These are supported by notes of mocha, cocoa powder, blackberries, soy, licorice and coffee beans. Seamless but concentrated, there are abundant but ever-so-fine, silky tannins. The wine has serious length. A fifteen year proposition. Love it. Drink to: 2026-2041; Price: $100.00; Rating: 95 Points; Ken Gargett
