The Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOP of Tenuta Ulisse is produced with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes, cultivated on the calcareous and clayey soil of the village of Crecchio, province of Chieti. This wine has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. An intense, persistent and fruity and flowery fragrance with hints of cherry, blackberries, ripe red fruits.

Sensations: Its exceptional sweetness of pure spicy blackberry, the unoxidised fragrance of its maximum fruitiness, the soft-acid-tannic harmony of its taste, that its blackcurrant pulp, with real persuasiveness and essence, to the touch is cream. The nose is tangy and spicy, with aromas of pepper, plum skin, top soil, bergamot and tea leaf, while the palate sweetens with milk chocolate and more berries, but still leans towards earthy, metallic tones overall.
