From the excellent 2021 vintage. Much to like here. Vibrant purple/maroon in hue, the nose gives us notes of chocolate, blackberries, bergamot, aniseed, a hint of mint and coffee beans. This is finely structured with a seductive texture and is very long. Finely balanced, the wine is persistent and intensity is maintained throughout. A ten to fifteen year proposition. Impressive. Drink to: 2025-2040; Price: $50.00; Rating: 94 Points; Ken Gargett

Blessed with substantial fruit flavour. It's a satisfying wine and it's also an interesting one, its blackberry and roasted plum flavours made more complex by whispers of charred meat, violets, peppercorns and mint. There's a good curl of tannin and enough push (of flavour) through the finish to impress and then some. From every angle, including the contents in the glass, this is an admirable wine. Alcohol: 13.8%; Closure: Screwcap; Rated: 92 Points; Campbell Mattinson; The Wine Front

The density and richness of this vintage are immediately evident compared to the elegant and stylish 2020. This one delivers a more robust and textured palate. Alive with vibrant black and red fruits, and a touch of dark chocolate. Tannins are fine yet purposeful, and the wine is structured, flavoursome and long. Another excellent, preservative-free wine made to certified organic and biodynamic standards. Drink to: 2025-2032; Price: $50.00; Rating: 93 Points; Ray Jordan
