This impeccably run Estate crafts a set of wines that ooze style and class. Even better, the quality just keeps getting better and better, reflecting the continual evolution in the vineyard and winery. It was Michel Wright who immaculately built this property into the beacon it has become today. While Voyager's founder and visionary sadly passed away in 2012, he left a powerful legacy of an absolute commitment to quality that today pervades every corner of Voyager. The Estate remains family owned, with Michael’s daughter, Alex Burt (nee Wright), matching her father's fanatical attention to detail with an environmental conscience that has opened another important chapter in the history of this Estate.

The extra time in bottle has helped this wine immeasurably. It's really come into its own and is drinking superbly. Classic cabernet with power and structure yet delivered with such poise and refined elegance. The fine grained tannins are a feature contributing to the palate performance. Love the fragrance and perfume which sets this up wonderfully. Rating: 97 Points; Ray Jordan; West Australian
Deep, bright colour; a complex and rich wine with layers of cassis/blackcurrant, red berries and plum on the opulent palate; the overall extract has been handled with flair, and the length is admirable. Drink to: 2035; Price: $70.00 (On release); Date Tasted: Jan 2014; Alcohol: 13%; Rating: 96 Points; James Halliday; Wine Companion
