Sourced from Ulithorne's 1965 planted dry-grown vineyard in Blewitt Springs, handpicked, cooled overnight, open-fermented, basket-pressed to 20% new and 80% used French oak for 12-15 months. Shows a tapestry of cherry and ruby red fruits wrapped around a balanced spine of acidity and fine tannins. A gorgeous Blewitt Springs Grenache that will age effortlessly.

Blewitt Springs fruit from a vineyard planted in 1965, with 10 months in French oak. This comes in an imposing, heavyweight bottle, deep punted and sealed with wax. And from an address that makes some powerful wines, one could expect a powerhouse. But no. From pouring a brilliant garnet to the lifted cherry, wild raspberry, rose, musk and bergamot notes, it sets a much more elegant agenda. There's the house polish and a lean into sweet fruits, with an expansive palate and redcurrant jelly notes, but it's pristinely ripe, pure and fragrant, with a fine cherry-pit grip to close.
