Stonehouse was established by Winemaker Tom White at his Curator Vineyard in the Marananga sub region of the Barossa Valley. Known for his deep and rich winemaking style, his wines are always juicy ripe while displaying exceptional balance and refinement.

Made from vineyards on the western side of the Barossa Valley, this small batch wine was open fermented before maturing in both French and American oak barrels. As a classic Barossa Valley Shiraz it displays deep colour, dark berry fruit including blackberries and black cherries along with well integrated oak characters.

Gorgeously ripe and fabulously expressed, the bouquet shows blackberry, spiced plum, cedar, olive and floral notes, leading to a concentrated palate delivering succulent fruit intensity and supple mouthfeel. It's sumptuous and opulent, while remaining properly structured by loads of fine tannins. Now to 2030. Rating: 94 Points; Sam Kim; Wine Orbit
