Sieger Estate was created as part of the destination name for Winery/Cellar Door on Siegersdorf Road, Tanunda. Siegersdorf Road is located between Tanunda and Nuriootpa and is named by the early Barossa settlers after a village in Prussia. The word Sieger simply translates as “Winner”.

There is limited production of this delicious Barossa GSM. It is plush, silky, opulent and generous – what is not to like about that! The flavours weave through chocolate, coffee beans, dry herbs, cassis and blackberries. The supple texture and seamless structure provide a solid base for a really likeable red blend. We see more chocolate emerging on the palate. A wine with impressive length. Drink to: 2025-2036; Alcohol: 15%; Price: $55.00; Rating: 94 Points; Ken Gargett

A plush and generous blend of grenache, shiraz and mourvedre. Seductive floral perfumes of rose petal and stewed plum. The palate is a polished combination of supple fruit, fine chalky tannins and a gentle touch of oak. Displays an earthy red fruit flavour combo with a little dried herb and sage-like character. Medium weight and harmonious. Drink to: 2025-2031; Price: $55.00; Rating: 93 Points; Ray Jordan

It's richly fruited and enticing on the nose with dark berry, clove, star anise, cured meat and cedary oak aromas. The palate displays excellent concentration and plump mouthfeel, beautifully framed by layers of fine tannins. It's sturdy and robust with a persistent, satisfying finish. At its best: now to 2031. Date: June 2024; Price: $55.00; Rating: 95 Points; Wine Orbit
