The Pajot domain is situated on the picturesque hills overlooking Eauze, the capital of Armagnac,  where several generations of the Barreau family have been custodians of this beautiful and striking land.

In 1973 Edmond Barreau, a farmer from Normandy with the goal to create a winery in Armagnac bought land establishing the Domain. Hi son Jeana took over from his father in 1984 and since 2015, Edmond’s grand son Damien has taken the reigns now working closely with his son, Clement, who has taken to the day-to-running of the business with gusto. A truly family affair.

This is a dry and textural blend of Colombard, Ugni-Blanc, Sauvignon, and Gros-Manseng.

That lemon pith and white floral flourish always delights. There is a little salty edging too that is instantly appealing. Crunchy green apple fruit, a lemon twang and rush for crystalline fruit on the palate. Lovely poise and balance with plenty of fruit and a snap of mineral freshness and lively acidity that pierces the fruit beautifully. Another winner.
