Papagiannakos Assyrtiko 2022
Light straw-yellow; elusive nose of dried flowers, citrus blossom—peppery and attractive. The wine is light and crisp, dry and soft at the same moment, with good intensity and persistence. There is a touch of finesse to it. Balance and harmony, finished off by a subtle trace of phenolic grip. A well-made modern dry white. Date: July 2023; Alcohol: 13%; Price: $53.00; Drink: 2023-2028; Rating: 95 Points; Huon Hooke; The Real Review
Sigalas Les Iles White 2020
Stonefruit and citrus zest, brine and dried flowers. It’s juicy, kind of apricot and chamomile tea to taste, with a saline edge, a fine chalky/powdery texture, and plenty of flavour on a fresh but ripe peachy/yellow fruity finish of good length. Good fun. I’m thinking big cold glasses of this with calamari and the like. It makes me think of holidays, which is a pretty nice feeling. Alcohol: 13.5%; Price: $30; Closure: Screwcap; Drink: 2021-2023; Rated: 91 Points; Gary Walsh; The Wine Front
Kir-Yianni Naoussa Village Xinomavro 2021
It has intense aromatic profile, characterized by red fruits like cherry and strawberry. On the palate, Naoussa Kir-Yianni is light and fresh with soft tannins and medium body.
Kir-Yianni Ramnista Naoussa 2019
On the palate, gentle tannins and round mouth feel, with distinctive sense of the oak barrel. The unexpected full body and robust acidity showcase a great wine.
