Moet is over 250 years old and belongs to the exclusive group of luxury champagne creators, Louis Vuitton, Moet Hennessy and now Krug. It is by far the biggest selling Champagne in the world. Brut Impérial is a balanced assemblage of the three vine varieties disclosing a succession of elegant and harmonious sensations, a fresh maturity, supple and refined lines, inspiring well-being and an emotion which is appreciated and shared.

Each Grand Vintage is unique and expresses the Moët & Chandon Cellar Master’s personal interpretation of the year. The maturity of this 2013 champagne – the 75th Grand Vintage in the House’s history – is immediately apparent.

Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013 is a champagne marked by a late harvest. It encapsulates a year of waiting, a year of anticipation. The season shines through in its flavours and aromas, while its maturity is expressed through its autumnal notes, golden hue and persistent bubbles.

A creamy-textured Champagne with fine bubbles that are numerous and textural. It’s full-bodied and rounded with lovely bread dough and cooked apple, as well as just a hint of stone and mineral. It’s long, dry and satisfying at the finish. 41% chardonnay and 38% pinot noir, the rest pinot meunier. Drink now. Rating; 93 Points; James Suckling
