Farnese is one of Italy’s largest producers and Edizione is their big, powerful, flagship wine. A blend produced from five indigenous Italian grapes hence the name “Cinque Autoctoni" in Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera from two different regions, Puglia and Abruzzo.

Because the wine comes from two different regions it does not allow a vintage to be specified. Which is why they put a number on the label representing the number of vintages since the first release. The harvest of these grapes was 2018 so it's the Edizione 20.

The sensorial reverberation of its analytical and organoleptic features is a display of pure fruit for the eyes, nose and mouth. Such a deep violet that light cannot show through. Its blackberry pulp is the supreme essence. Its aroma reminds us of a berry in its early sap, spicy and flowery. All adding up to texture, balance and integrity, the highest value of its native grapes. Bright and clean.
