Cape Landing is an Independent, Family Owned Vineyard Making Classic Margaret River Wines.
Beautifully composed and textural, delivering ripe stone fruit balanced by vibrant natural acidity and seamless oak integration. Creamy mid-palate weight is supported by a fine structural line, while citrus brightness and mineral tension carry the wine with elegance through a long salty lime juice finish. Harmonious and mouth-watering. A sophisticated modern Margaret River Chardonnay that showcases both regional purity and confident winemaking. Superb balance of fruit concentration, acidity and oak harmony. Delicious! Price: $50.00; Drink to: 2026-2034; Rated: 96 Points; Vino Masters
The fruit sourced here comes from a range of clones, including the Gingin clone, known as the backbone for so many great Margaret River Chardonnays. A gold/yellow colour, the nose is redolent of grilled cashews, oatmeal, peaches and apricots. There is early complexity here and the oak integration is proceeding well. A wine of balance and intensity, this is a wonderful textural style with a fine line of acidity and excellent length. Love it. Eight years.
