The land grant on the historic Rowland Flat property was proclaimed by the Governor in 1847.
A deep and complex expression of the Barossa Valley. Dark chocolate, cedar, cassis, plums and spice aromas are apparent . This is supple, velvety, long and finished with mouthcoating tannins and flavour.
This was a pretty hot year in the Barossa, yet this is a wine from the heart of the Valley displaying suppleness, finesse and smooth texture all on a medium to full bodied palate. Loads of dark plummy, black fruits with a lick of cedar and slight black olive. Gradually building momentum through the palate as it drives to a long finish, this is a smooth and polished example of the Barossa.
