The Reschke history and its close relationship with Coonawarra began in 1906 with the establishment of a prime Hereford stud in the heart of the region. It is this cattle grazing heritage that is reflected in the Reschke bull logo, and the names of the premium Reschke wines.
This Pinot Noir is a medium bodied firmly structured wine with a round and textured palate. Expressions of vibrant crisp red fruit, tart plum, red cherry with overtones of textured forest floor and subtle oak complete a complex varietal cool climate Pinot Noir.
A fresh and youthful style of Pinot Noir here, the fruit comes from the Limestone Coast. The colour is a red/russet, while the nose reveals notes of strawberries, cherries, truffles, leaf litter, florals and red fruits. Slightly sappy on the palate, there is a hint of bitter almond on the finish. A wine of medium length, time should enhance the qualities here even further. Enjoy this over the next four to six years.
