This is a most sophisticated example of Australian Chardonnay, walking the tight rope of generous fruit flavours of  stone fruit, lemon zest and hints of creamy vanilla slice with some hand-braking restraint. There's a reason it knocked off its peers in Shaw + Smith M3, Eileen Hardy and Petaluma (to name just a few) to wine Best SA CHard at Royal Melbourne, and it's not done yet if you can keep your paws off it.
