A successful effort, the 2021 Lanessan exhibits aromas of cassis, pencil shavings and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and supple palate that's fleshy and enveloping, framed by powdery tannins and bright acids. The 2021 Lanessan has an attractive nose with pretty floral black fruit with hints of cedar. The palate is well balanced and cohesive good substance with a grippy finish. Not a complex Lanessan but it has presence and old school charm. Date: May 2022; Rating: 88-90 Points; Neal Martin; Vinous
