The house of Jacquart was established in 1964 by Chardonnay growers. Today, it is the second largest grower-producer in Champagne, with 100 per cent of the fruit grown by the owners. Closely linked to the terroir, the wines represent a fascinating bridge between the smaller family estates and the Grandes Marques.
Medium straw colour with a biscuity, lightly toasty, characterful and classic bouquet with dried flower traces. The wine is full and rich in the mouth with plenty of body and volume of flavour, the finish dry and balanced and seamlessly long. A complex, satisfying glass of champagne: lively acidity really drives the palate. Alcohol: 12.5%; Tasted: August 30th, 2025; Rating: 93 Points; Huon Hooke; The Real Review
We love Champagne Jacquart Brut Mosaïque for just about any occasion. It's the kind of Champagne that shines as an aperitif before dinner with friends, or for celebrating life's big (and small) moments. Serve it nicely chilled and let those beautiful floral and brioche notes open up and its creamy texture take centre stage. Price: $110.00; "Eight Champagnes to try"; October 2025; James Halliday Wine Companion
A famous old Champagne house, representing both flavour and value. How soon before we lament the days when we could find a good bottle of champers for under $100? Deep yellow gold in colour, the nose has those lovely biscuity notes, along with peaches, figs, stonefruits and hints of hazelnuts. Richly flavoured and excellent length, this has fresh acidity and impressive length. Very attractive and an exciting cellaring prospect. Lots to like here. Tasted: January 2024; Rating: 94 Points; Ken Gargett
Quite classy and carefully composed, showing attractive aromas of peaches, apples, honey and touches of honeysuckle. Delicious on the palate, with a silky mousse. Rating: 96 Points; Decanter World Wine Awards 2023
