Established in the mid-1980s, Delamere became a leading producer of table wines and a premium fruit source for many Tasmanian sparkling programs. In 2008, Fran and Shane, both young winemakers, purchased the property with the sole intention of making Delamere one of Tasmania's premium sparkling houses unlike any other in Australia- a single vineyard, single site sparkling house.

Light to medium yellow colour with a very complex, mature, developed bouquet loaded with toasty bready nuances, some aldehydes and lots of other details that add up to a mellow, mature, complex wine. It's full and rich in the mouth with roundness and creaminess. A real mouthful: delicious drinking in a full-bodied, mature, and very dry style, the finish very long. It's quite Champagne-like.
