Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. A mixture of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum scents jump out of the glass with some earthy vanillin oak and spice notes also present. Rich blackberry and liquorice fruits carry plenty of weight across the opulent palate. Dark plum, spicy vanillin oak and earthy dark chocolate elements chime in on the back half. Velvety tannins with a long plush aftertaste. Excellent value.
