An Approach To Relaxation is a joint project between Master Sommelier Richard Betts and Carla Rza Betts. Sucette is a 100% Grenache from an 80-85-year old, sand-grown, own-rooted vineyard that is beyond organic - it's feral. The vineyard is located in the Vine Vale, the coolest region of the Barossa Valley, situated at the foot of the Eden Valley in South Australia.
So much character here. This is excellent gear. It's meaty, minerally and floral; it has as much treble as bass; it throws citrus rind into the mix of red berries and it then threads Aussie bush spice notes into the wine's more ferrous, blood-stained areas.
