Rectoral do Umia is one of a handful of wineries in Galicia in North West Spain under the ownership of Family Wine Group Vinos y Bodegas Gallegas. The state of the art Rectoral do Umia winery, where Abellio Albarino is made, is located in the Salnes Valley and was built in 2009.
The fruit is sourced from vineyards of average age 7-20 years. Peach, mango, melon and lemon on the nose. It's medium-bodied with tangy acidity. Light, waxy finish. Drink now. Screw cap; James Suckling
