Hoddles Creek Estate was established in 1997 when the D'Anna family decided to establish a vineyard on the property that has been in the family since 1960. The vineyard sits astride Gembrook road and adjacent Hoddles Creek.

From a vineyard Hoddles Creek own and tend to weekly, this is the plushest of the three Wickhams Road pinots in 2023. A bright, medium crimson, this is bursting with strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of rose petal and spice. The palate is light- to medium-bodied, fleshy and with very gentle tannins making this a joy to drink even now. Totally overdelivers for the price! Date: Nov 2023; Alcohol: 12.8%; Price: $20.00; Drink by: 2026; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; Philip Rich; James Halliday Wine Companion
