Typically it shows a pink grapefruit character, concentration and mid-palate texture, which reflect the carefully selected sites and hand harvesting during the small window of perfect ripeness. The 2019 vintage is precisely to style: distinct pink grapefruit, mid-palate weight and textural interest, held by fine acidity.
Pale colour, almost water-white, with a very lifted, fresh, powerful aroma of tropical fruits - very clean and vital. The wine is the same in the mouth: intense and fresh, zesty and alive, with lemon and lime citrus notes over passionfruit and other tropical touches. Intense and refreshing to drink. A very smart Aussie sauvignon blanc. Rating: 93 Points; Huon Hooke
Light straw-quartz hue. Not the easiest of vintages, but you'd never know it given the intensity, the resonance and length of this vibrant, juicy wine. The 30th vintage, and I buy the back label comment 'the wine is better now than at any time in our 30 years'. Rating: 95 Points; James Halliday
