In 2016 Alex Russell & Lara Suitor started a family and relocated to Lara’s hometown and family in Launceston and they both set their sights on the cooler climate wine making region of Pipers River.
This Prosecco is a crunchy dry wine with limited residual sugar, balanced by a small addition of malic acid.
Pale straw with a lively, persistent bead. Aromas of green apple, pear and lemon zest are complemented by delicate citrus notes. The palate is crisp and vibrant with lively bubbles, fresh orchard fruit and refreshing acidity. Subtle citrus and a clean, dry finish make for an elegant and approachable sparkling wine. Spicy, crisp, and refreshing. This is a nice example of Prosecco. Showing a nice balance between pure fruit, a trace of sweetness, and crisp acidity to achieve tight balance.
