The Reschke history and its close relationship with Coonawarra began in 1906 with the establishment of a prime Hereford stud in the heart of the region. It is this cattle grazing heritage that is reflected in the Reschke bull logo, and the names of the premium Reschke wines.

This Pinot Gris is perfumed and lifted fruit-driven wine with abundant vibrant pear, apple and peach characters. Crisp and fresh with a rounded mid palate and the wine lingers with complex fresh fruit flavours.

Pale lemon with green reflections. Aromas of pear, apple and white peach are lifted by floral notes and a touch of citrus zest. The bouquet is bright, delicate and inviting. The palate is fresh and vibrant with juicy orchard fruit, crisp acidity and a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Subtle mineral notes add finesse before a clean refreshing finish. Rating: 95 Points; Vino Masters

This is quite a delicate style, but that can be slightly deceptive as there’s good flavour intensity in the fruit sourced from Padthaway and Reschke’s Rat & Bull vineyards, with a little from the Limestone Coast. Distinctive varietal apple crumble and cut pear with that edgy lemony zip. A very complete wine with a lovely mouthfeel and texture. Rating: 91 Points; Ray Jordan
