Founded in 1988, Pooles Rock is synonymous with the classic Hunter Valley varieties of semillon, shiraz and chardonnay. Since 2011, the Agnew family have maintained the focus on this triumvirate of varieties, with fruit coming from their historic and sustainability certified vineyards in the Pokolbin and Broke-Fordwich sub-regions, with the pinnacle wines for each variety coming from tiny parcels of over 100-year-old vines.

Textbook young semillon with excellent purity, softness and intensity. The palate displays impressive generosity and harmony, achieved through the expert blending of select parcels of hand-picked, whole-bunch-pressed fruit from across the Hunter Valley.
