Set in the charming Tarin Grove Estate, this picturesque property boasts all the history the Hunter has to offer; fields of cattle, rows of vineyards, all set on an enchanting property in the heart of Pokolbin. Born & bred in the Hunter; miner & farmer Ross Crump together with partner Lisa Hugo operate the property and are set out to produce premium, single vineyard wines under the Parched Crow label.

A stellar vintage for the Hunter Valley, one which should be widely represented in every winelover’s cellar. Pale yellow with aromas of florals, peaches, lemon pie and dried herbs. A nice mix of ripeness and freshness, well balanced for the full journey. Fine acidity, focused and very long, shows the quality of the vintage. This has ten years and more to enjoy. Tasted: Apr 2023; Drink: 2023-2033; Price: $30.00; Rating: 94 Points; Ken Gargett; Wine Pilot
