The wine-growing culture of the Nuiton-Beaunoy wines is based on the fruit grown with a close collaboration between the wine growers and the technicians at the Cave des Hautes-Côtes, all of whom share a passion for vines and wine. Their objective is to craft the wines that will become the ambassadors for their region, requiring close attention to detail in their work. While the people of Nuiton-Beaunoy respect the values of their history, they are also committed to adapting and reinventing themselves, without ever denying their roots.

Medium-full red-purple colour; bright, fresh aromas of dry-grass, dried herbs, strawberries and dark red cherries. The flavour is quite delicious: intense and full bodied dark cherry fruit coupled with firm and abundant tannins supplying excellent structure for ageworthiness. Drinks superbly now with food and will reward substantial aging. Date Tasted: May 2023; Drink: 2023 to 2036; Price: $160.00; Alcohol: 14%; Rating: 95 Points; Huon Hooke; The Real Review

A medium red in colour with black cherry, wild blackberry, undergrowth and understated spice. The palate is beautifully textured and medium to full bodied, black cherry dominates with a faint kirsh character; tannins are structural and in prefect balance with the vibrant fruit and move it to a more earthen and savoury mode. There is certainly concentration and depth, but also the unmistakable drive, energy and balance that comes from the greatest Pinot Noir region in the World. Rating: 95 Points; Patrick Eckel; The Wine Reviewer
