Deep dark red colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Fragrant violet, dark cherry and ripe strawberry scents evolve from the glass followed by some anise, lightly toasted cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Mid weighted the palate is generously endowed with ripe dark cherry and strawberry fruits which are pitted against some anise, toasty cedar, forest floor and spice nuances. Excellent drive and concentration with velvet like tannins and a long richly flavoured conclusion.
