This deep, vibrant ruby red Shiraz with a bright crimson hue is full-bodied and concentrated, rich in licorice, mocha, and hazelnut tannins, seamlessly infused with oak. At its heart, juicy plum and cherry fruit shine through, complemented by bright acidity and youthful vitality. Appealing now, but cellaring will reward patience. This is Coonawarra Shiraz at its very best.

The Malleea by Majella continues the great Australian tradition of Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz blends. Malleea an Aboriginal term meaning "green paddock" is a great descriptor for the green, lush pastures and vineyards of the limestone coast region in the South Eastern portion of South Australia. Black raspberry, red cherry and pomegranate. Burdock root, crushed cumin and pulled paperbark stripped from the tree. Nutmeg and cinnamon. Fresh bay leaf, oregano and pepperberry. The silkiest of palates with ripe red fruit flowing down the centre, wrapped in cabernet berries that weave in and out. A mocha coffee and carob sweetness with a touch of anise and tobacco pouch.
