The first Heidenreich vineyard was planted in Vine Vale by Rufus Armein Heidenreich in 1936. These vineayrds are still in production, and still owned and managed by the Heidenreich family. After a career spanning 15 years as an Intensive Care Nurse, Liz Heidenreich decided to follow in the heritage of the family and commence a career in winemaking.

The Riesling is quintessentially Watervale, lemon rind, fresh natural acidity and bath salts. Clean and fresh, bright and lively, with purity of fruit standing out.  Natural acidity gives the wine persistence and length.

Enjoy while young and fresh or cellar for 5-8 years. The wine will change over time as the acidity develops into toasted, buttery aromas and flavours.
