Almost understated to begin, the vintage expression with minerals over florals well expressed before rising with gorgeous fruit in the palate, fabulous textured pith and acidity powering through, amazing length to top it all off. A wow Riesling in anyone’s terms. Drink: 2025 to 2040; Rating: 96 Points; Andrew Caillard MW | Vintage Journal
Almost invisible in colour, the nose gives us an array of spices, citrus, white jasmine and even hints of that old favourite, the iced vovo biscuit. There is juicy acidity here and the intensity is maintained throughout. A lovely lingering finish with the flavours reflecting the aromatics. This has 15 to 20 years of providing pleasure ahead of it. Drink: 2030 to 2045; Rating: 96 Points; Ken Gargett
