This second-generation estate is now lead by Claire Naudin, whose father Henri Naudin-Ferrand founded the domain.
Aligote has always been very important for the Naudin family. Iconic. Aged on lees, moved as little as possible in its life before bottling. One for any time of the day. Scents of preserved lemon, faint marzipan, light sea spray. Crystal clear in the palate, delicate and refreshing flavours of citrus, green apple, faint nuttiness. Good length of flavour and lovely squirt of minerally acidity to close. Just delightful. Alcohol : 11.5%; Price: $44; Closure: Cork; Rated: 92 Points; Mike Bennie; The Wine Front
