The Domaine is located in Beaune in buildings steeped in history, dating from the 16th century. The origin of the domain name: "Bellene" comes from the name of the city of Beaune. In the first century of our era, this town was called "Belena" from the God of the Sun "Belenos" then "Beaulne" and finally Beaune, which reflects their desire to make the estate a benchmark for Beaune wines.
