Azelia is located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto, a small town in the heart of the area Barolo area, between the hard and powerful eastern valley and the soft and supple western valley. Established in 1920 by Cavalier Lorenzo Scavino the small farm began to produce everything the family needed. In 1967 Alfonso Scavino, son of Lorenzo began making wine from the estate vineyards and bottled the first wines of the estate. Now Luigi Scavino is the 3rd generation winemaker of the family and is supported by his wife Lorella and by his son Lorenzo.
