Brokenwood Wines, in the heart of the Hunter Valley, can lay claim to not only an iconic vineyard with the Graveyard Vineyard but to the preservation of a wine fraternity that proudly has as its mission statement, 'to make great wine and have fun.' The Hunter Valley is renowned for its dry table wines of Semillon and Shiraz. Brokenwood's production of these is further supported by premium grapes sources 'from all the right regions for all the right reasons' such as Orange, Beechworth and McLaren Vale.
Vibrant in colour, with lots of luminous green tints. Lovely florals and green apple blossom aromas. Mouth-filling flavours of lime juice, green apple, and lemon pith balancing the zesty acid backbone. The flavours linger on for quite some time, a classic Hunter Valley Semillon to enjoy now or age gracefully.

Very light straw colour; reserved, shy and very dry aromas of straw/hay and dried flowers and herbs, lots of aromas happening here. In the mouth, it's light bodied, soft textured and gently grapy, with a little sweetness to the fruit, as opposed to the more classic bone-dry style. Fresh acidity. Delicious and very accessible in its extreme youth. Huon Hooke
Made exclusively from hand-picked fruit sourced across the valley, this wine offers incredible value with its pure, lemony fruit, palate breadth, freshness and length. Ever-dependable and deeply satisfying, it stands out as one of the region's best buys. Gorgeous in its youth, with lime blossom and green apple notes, it will reward careful cellaring, unveiling toast and flint characters over time. Date: Jan 2025; Alcohol: 11.5%; Price: $28.00; Drink by: 2025; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion
