Rectoral do Umia is one of a handful of wineries in Galicia in North West Spain under the ownership of Family Wine Group Vinos y Bodegas Gallegas. The state of the art Rectoral do Umia winery, where Abellio Albarino is made, is located in the Salnes Valley and was built in 2009.
The fruit is sourced from vineyards of average age 7-20 years. Tangy and fresh with green papaya, lemon and some green-apple undertones. Medium to full body, creamy texture and a lively finish. Drink and enjoy. Tasted: October 2020; Rating: 92 Points; James Suckling
