Harvested on the 28th February, which was about a week latter than the previous year. With the dry summer, there is a further depth of concentrated flavours. The 2014 No.3, providing up front fruit, passionfruit, ripe lemons and limes, pear and even a hint of mint. The wine drinks exceptionally well now, but will reward with long term cellaring.

Clare Valley. Dry style but (orange) blossomy. Good intensity. Lime juice riddled with spice. Lifted and lively. Keeps the show going through the finish. Drink By: 2025; Price: $23.00; Date Tasted: 01 Jan 2015; Alcohol: 12.5%; Rating: 94 Points; Campbell Mattinson; James Halliday Wine Companion

Special Value Star - James Halliday Wine Companion

Attractively flowery to sniff, the palate soft and round, fruity and yet dry, light-bodied and well balanced with a clean soft finish, nevertheless with lively acidity. There's a hint of buttered toast on the nose and a citrusy juiciness buried in the palate too. It's an attractive and very delicate wine. Rating: 92 Points; Huon Hooke
