A great balanced between fruit acid and oak hints at the quality of the wine and the vintage. The wine has the typical seamless Vat 47 palate with great fruit length and a clean acid finish. 

Entirely hand picked with a proportion also being basket pressed. After cold settling the juice was partially fermented in stianless steel before being transferred into new, one and two year old French oak barriques where it was matured on yeast lees for 6 months prior to blending and bottling.
