Xanadu Wines has been producing an exciting range of award-winning, regional wines representing more than 40 years of winemaking tradition. The winery was started by Dr John Lagan, who planted his first vines in 1977 with the help and support of his wife, Eithne. Dr John named the winery after the exotic and mysterious city or place of paradise - Xanadu described in Samuel Coleridge’s famous poem, Kubla Kahn.

The lively palate is medium bodied with wonderful clarity offering citrus flavours, crunchy tropical fruits, lemon thyme and spice. A beautifully structured wine, layered with lovely textural elements yet maintaining a crystalline backbone of quartz and zesty acidity.
There's an extra dimension to the palate courtesy of partial barrel fermentation, serving to add to the grass, herb and passionfruit trio, citrussy acidity cleansing the finish.
