Pale straw with a vibrant green hue. Notes of kaffir lime, spice and citrus are prevalent with an underlying presence of honeysuckle blossom and talc. The palate opens with lime, citrus and hints of spice. The primary fruit characters are subtle, the palate fine and pure with lingering fresh acidity. Drink now for its freshness and purity or cellar for up to 8 years.
Pure and beautiful. This has it all - lean austerity, ripe citrus fruit, taut acid and long length of flavour. It's a little ripper, and the price is well below the pleasure it delivers. Don't miss it. Drink to: 2036; Price: $22.00; Date Tasted: Jan 2021; Alcohol: 11.5%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; Campbell Mattinson; James Halliday Wine Companion
